As the case file itself documents, after Commander David Fravor and his wingman broke off their initial engagement with the object and turned to rejoin their planned Combat Air Patrol point roughly 60 miles away, the Princeton's radar reacquired the object already waiting at that exact rendezvous coordinate — a location the pilots themselves had only just been assigned and had not yet reached.
